Personal History: Although the personal records from the orphanage are incomplete, we know that Prativa was found abandoned on the road by patrolling police in Kathmandu. At the time, Prativa was about two and half years old, and she was brought to the Balmandir Orphanage by the police.

What makes me special?: “Prativa”, which means “Statue” in Nepali, is a happy girl who loves to dance, sing and play with other children. She especially loves to watch cartoons. Her favorite sport is running. Her favorite subject in school is English and she wants to be a doctor or a teacher when she grows up. Prativa’s favorite color is orange, and her favorite food is rice and meat. She loves spending time swinging, sliding, dancing and watching TV. Prativa has a lot of love to give, and is being thankful to her sponsors for brightening her future with possibilities.
