Personal History: As a baby, Prem’s father abandoned the family. His struggling mother began to abuse alcohol, and she eventually abandoned him on the side of the road. He was found by a municipal worker, who had him admitted to Balmandir Orphanage at age 4. Because he has no known relatives, he spends the Danshain holidays back at the orphanage.

What makes me special?: Prem is a sweet boy with a BIG personality. He loves to dance (especially “Bollywood hip-hop”), sing and play with other children. His favorite sport is “skipping.” Currently, he insists that he wants to be an “army man” when he grows up. His favorite food is chicken “mo-mo’s” and his favorite color is orange. He has no memory of his family or the ordeal that he survived, but he loves his life school and is a happy child. Prem is bright, works hard to please his teacher, and is currently in the nursery school. He has a lot of love to give, and needs a sponsor so that his future is secure.
