Dear everybody,
Namaste! Hope this letter will find you all in the good health. There is nothing to worry about with me. I am fine here and doing well in the group home. Our group home is a happy home and it is very fun and joyful. I would like to tell about the group home in brief.
The credit of establishing the group home goes to you all. We had never thought that we would be able to live in such a beautiful and happy home. Here in the group home we have to do everything by ourselves, so we are learning how take care of ourselves. There is uncle and auntie to guide us. They are like our real parents, and are helpful. I have joined a bridge course taking science. I want to become a successful doctor.

Namaskar!
How are you all? I hope you all are fine and in good health. I am also fine here and preparing myself for my board exam (final). I am very glad to write to you all and share some of my feelings.
As you know we are all in the group home. I personally feel it is good for me and is helping me a lot in shaping all the skills for my future. It is also providing a family environment to all of us and I don't have fear to face any situation in the near future.
Thank you all for your unconditional love, support and cooperation. Thank god we have parents like you all to support us in all our acts and steps. I am also thankful to get supportive guardians like Dinesh Uncle and Hira Aunt. They are so caring, helpful and want us to do good things and learn all the skills of life. I am happy living in the group home as one of the senior children. I don't have any complaints regarding food, facilities and ..............Whatever we are getting is sufficient for us.
Well, may god bless all the Nepalese and bring peace. Miss you all and thank you all.
Your mayalu chora, Sudersan(Khil)
Namaste everyone,
I have no words to express how thankful I am for your kind support and helping children like us. What we are today is all because of your selfless love and support. I took the SLC (School Leaving Certificate) this year and have expected good results. My dad (Bruce) encouraged me to study A-Level. I feel so lucky to get such an opportunity and I will not miss it. I will try my best to get good grades. But due to indefinite strikes in Nepal, I have not been able to go for my admission. Uncle Dinesh is working hard to get me admitted into a good college.
Happy home, the name that we gave to our group home is really beautiful. We feel safe and secure. It has provided us with a family environment where everyone is friendly and helpful. Aunt Hira teaches us to cook food. Previously I didn't even know how to cook simple Nepali dish. Now I can cook without anyone's help.
We have a guest from Swaziland. She is Louise and is a medical student. She is providing voluntary service in Nepal. She has been a great help to us with our studies. She will be staying us with us until June. She is great human being because she sold her car to come to Nepal and serve people here as she didn't get help from her university.
We will have another guest within few weeks. She is my cousin Katie who will be our diction teacher. I can't wait to see her.
Yours sincerely,
Nari Bk
Dearest everyone,
Firstly thanks for your priceless love and care. I really feel blessed and content to have you all in my life and since, my life has changed a lot. Looking at my life before when I was not sponsored I was a shy girl and I was not good in studies. And moreover I was not confident at all about myself. I just recently finished my SLC which is an iron gate to our future and I performed well in my exam. I really felt sad to leave school, I had been studying there for 6 years but it is life and we have to accept it. Khushi ghar has made me feel at home with all the family members and I am thankful to you for managing such a safe home for all of us. I am Laxmi, the daughter of my dearest parents Diane and Jeff and they mean a lot to me. Thanks for supporting us in everything, and we are in this stage all because of your help.
I really didn't know much about the outside world and I used to think it was really difficult. But it's not so because Dinesh Uncle and Hira Aunt are there for us to get exposed to the outside world. I didn't know how to cook and now I am learning to cook. Now I am taking a management bridge course and it's really fun as we have get there on our own. At the group home, we are given a micro bus fare and we have to travel by ourselves and that's the most interesting part. We have a guest from Swaziland, her name is Louise and she is a medical student. We have got to know so many things about life from her and she is a good person. Katie sis is here to take our diction class. My aim is to be a great CA (Chartered Accountant) and I will try best to achieve it. Lastly, I will work even harder to get my dreams fulfilled and make you all happy with my effort. Thanks for everything.
With lots and lots of love from,
Laxmi Karki.
Hello Everybody,
Hope everyone is fine and I am fine here too. It was a great pleasure for me to get an opportunity to write to you all. Thank you for your priceless love and care, which can't be expressed into words.
Right now the situation in Nepal is ok and I am able to attend my daily classes. My aim is to a nurse because I want to serve the poor and the needy people. In order to be admitted into a good hospital or institute for my higher studies I need to appear an entrance exam and I am preparing hard.
We are all happy in our new home (Khushi Ghar) with uncle and aunt. They are really caring and loving. Aunt is helping us with our cooking and uncle is helping us with our other matters. We are like a big family and happy to live together. This wouldn't be possible without your support and care for us. Thank you very much for your priceless love and care. I regard myself as lucky because I got chance to be the part of HCC.
Your loving chori (daughter),
Manmaya Rawal
