We invite you to join us in supporting the orphaned children of Nepal and celebrating the spirit and strength of the Nepali people. You can make a huge difference in all of their lives.

Please consider participating in one or more of the HCC sponsorship opportunities that are described below. You can make your contribution by check or through the PayPal button on the right. All of your donations are tax deductible.

(Note: If you use PayPal to make your donation, we respectfully request that you assist HCC in offsetting the impact of the transaction fees by donating the specified PayPal amount, where applicable.)

Boarding School Sponsorship
By sponsoring a child's attendance in an English-speaking boarding school, you are causing the personal transformation of that child and the possibility of a brighter future for him or her. The cost is $1200 per year per child, which covers his/her education, room, board, and basic healthcare.

You can choose the full-year or half-year sponsorship. Contributions for the latter are combined with those of another half-year-sponsorship donor to enroll one child at the boarding school.

Full-Year Sponsorship:	$1200 per child if donating by check $1236 per child if donating through PayPal (includes PayPal fees)
Half-Year Sponsorship:	$600 per child if donating by check $618 per child if donating through PayPal (includes PayPal fees)

College Education Sponsorship
Many of HCC's children will be graduating high school soon, and they have expressed the desire to attend college. Young as they may be, they already recognize the importance of helping others and contributing back to their community and country by becoming teachers and doctors. Help us to support them in realizing their goals by contributing $250 or an amount of your choice, which will go into the fund for their tuition, books, and other college expenses.

Life Skills Program Sponsorship
As the children get older, their needs change. Thus we created the Life Skills Program. Your contribution of $75 (or an amount of your choice) allows us to provide resources that teach computer skills, advanced English skills, and basic life skills (i.e. how to apply for a job, find an apartment, budget money, maintain a household, etc.) to our HCC teenagers.

Group Homes Sponsorship
When our teens near the completion of 10th grade, we support them in securing housing in Kathmandu outside of the boarding school, which typically does not house students after this time. Our group homes are supervised living situations whereby our 11th and 12th graders live with local friends-of-HCC families and are provided room, board, and loving care. Each group of boys and girls is comprised of those with similar vocational interests and then placed with a family that lives near their school. Your donation of $100, or an amount of your choice, helps provide safe and nurturing homes for these teens.

Education Sponsorship
Your annual contribution of $125 (check) or $130 (PayPal) per child allows HCC to provide education to children from poor families in villages outside of Kathmandu, children who would otherwise not have any schooling at all.

General Support
You can also contribute to the HCC mission by using GoodSearch/GoodShop, iSearch/iGive, and Changing the Present. Through these programs, participating companies will make donations to HCC as a result of your online searching, shopping, and gifting. (Click on the banner links at the right and at the bottom of this page for more information.) We aggregate the contributions that we receive through these programs and apply that amount to the HCC program where it will make the biggest difference.
